Safer Tablesaw Pushblock

Built in 2014 to functionally emulate the Micro-Jig GRR-Ripper using scraps of various hardwoods (and MDF for a non-structural L-shaped riser), a playground ladder plastic handle, and assorted hardware. The original tool is vastly superior to your average tablesaw push-block in safety and ergonomics, but is pricey.

Meant to prevent this frightening ordeal.

Center portion can be moved in either direction to stably support the piece being cut.

Can also be used without the L-shaped riser...

... or with it lowered.

It also works on a router table (though I've never dared to use it on one this small).
